Picturebook Retreat with Anna Doherty

We have a wonderful new tutor, Anna Doherty! She’s a delightful writer and illustrator of both fiction and non-fiction picturebooks,  probably best know for her Fantastically Feminist (and Totally True) biographical picturebooks on the Brontë Sisters, Ada Lovelace, Emma Watson and Michelle Obama. 

For this retreat, in addition  wonderful daily sketching outings and picturebook making workshops, Anna is giving some incredibly helpful workshops on illustrating for non-fiction (in a way that is really fun and engaging for young readers!) and on how to build your portfolio.
