Explore each stage of the picturebook process:
from generating ideas through to making rough sketches and eventually finished illustrations, all the while, focusing on enriching your storytelling both in words and pictures.
Learn about character, pacing, plot and composition, with plenty of time to work on existing projects (or start something from scratch if you’re feeling brave!).
The main aim is to have a fun, exploratory time that will open up new creative avenues for you!

Hi Inky Larks, I would love to attend the picturebook retreat with Lizzy Stewart. I am just trying to work out logistics as I am travelling to the UK from Australia and looking to stay in Rome on my return. Would it be possible to find out details of accomodation nearby? Thank you! Sara
